What we've seen with my daughter in Greek life at UF is that many of her high school friends realized after freshman year they had "missed out" on Greek life and chose to rush in the spring or the following fall. One girl it took 3 recruitment seasons before she finally made it through pref and found a home. All in good time I guess.
