Too busy with the 2000 pages I must read before March 18. I will indulge in one of my favorite guilty pleasures tomorrow: Fashion Police. I love to watch the episodes after awards shows.
|
I wish I had seen more of the movies. I really wanted to see a lot of them but only ended up seeing Argo and Les Miz. It makes it harder to care.
Maybe it is me, but I'd rather hear people's acceptances speeches or have it end at a reasonable hour than have a five minute tribute to music from James Bond movies. But I'm crabby and ornery right now anyway. |
The Lincoln joke was funny, I have to admit
|
John Travolta... he should know how to pronounce Les Miserables, right?
And I'm fine with the musical tribute to musicals... lol |
Catherine Zeta-Jones' lip sync of All That Jazz was AWFUL
|
I will admit that I rarely watch award shows, so maybe I'm just clueless, but I didn't realize there could be a tie...

Notice that there's no Jaws theme for the big awards? They shut up the little people instead

Funny that they're using the Jaws theme though. That made me chuckle. I'm glad for Anne Hathaway. It could just be a public persona, but she seems genuine, sincere, and humble. She just seems like someone I would want to be friends with.

Adele's performance of Skyfall was amazing, per usual.
I'm rooting for Argo for Best Picture...something about a non-musical, non-epic drama winning just makes me smile. Nothing wrong with Les Mis or Lincoln, just something different for a change |
I knew Jennifer Lawrence was going to take a tumble on the stairs when she didn't attempt to lift the front of her dress..
But she handled it well! |
I want to be Jennifer Lawrence's best friend.
|
Love Michelle Obama's dress.
|
Let Kristen Chenoweth host the Oscars next year.
