He did seem crazed and I'll chalk it up to exhaustion. There will be some road blocks that the Dad can do .. the eating challenges, the "find something" challenges, maybe even swimming challenges. That leg was four days so he's had the aircast/brace thing on for four days. It will probably improve a lot over the next few days, unless he injures it again or something. |
Drat. I really was hoping to see Max and Katie gone.

Any thoughts on the controversy addressed at the show's opening this past week? I did raise an eyebrow at the whole "We Love Communism" song and the B-52 memorial when I saw it...not surprised VFW was pissed off.

With the B-52, I was sort of felt it is what it is; it's part of the history of Vietnam. Frankly, the song struck me as something to cause eye rolls and incredulous chuckles more than raised eyebrows. |

Ugh, I stopped recording the show that comes on after TAR when football season ended. Now I only have 19 minutes of tonight's episode. Ugh.

About time.

I always cringe when one member of a team spends the whole time berating the other one. A true team finds ways to support each other and help each other get through it, not demean their partner and make them feel even worse about the challenges they have.

Whew for the hockey boys. I was worried there for a while.
And haggis and bagpipes next week! I'm so ready. |
I just watched Sunday's episode (rough week). I missed your previous comment MC, but when the haggis poet started reciting, I definitely thought about you and the sushi vs. haggis comments in the WIFLSRN thread.
