I did not find her in my directory.

lovespink88 01-24-2013 07:16 PM

No record of that name in Alpha Xi Delta.

I found a Martha Pierce in the Tri Delt Chapter in the '32 Yearbook, which would be '31

Not a DZ

Hi,

I checked our database and there are no members with the last name of Pierce listed for Pitt.

nyapbp 01-24-2013 09:57 PM

Not a Pi Phi

She wasn't in our 1938 directory.

honeychile 01-24-2013 10:34 PM

I just found out that our directory is just for those still alive. If she has already passed, the individual chapter would have the information. Good luck!

I've seen situations in my Fraternity (Alpha Phi Omega) and others where this happened and the Fraternity didn't consider the chapter inactive, especially since a significant number of brothers came back in the 1945-46 school year and picked up where they left off.

That's Delta Zeta, Omicron Chapter (installed on January 21, 1916; see? I still remember things I learned as a pledge!)

AngelPhiSig, it is so nice to see you back here!

Not a Kappa.

Has anyone else tried the yearbook site? I cannot believe how slow it is!

glittergal1985 01-25-2013 11:11 PM

Theta Phi Alpha has a Margaret Pierce, but her chapter isn't listed.

It's moody with its speed

honeychile 01-26-2013 01:05 AM

Another thought: Is Pierce her married name or her maiden name? If you're checking yearbooks, it makes a huge difference.

AngelPhiSig 01-31-2013 09:35 PM

She was never married. Her diploma says "Mae" I will ask my grandma if it could be Margaret...

Such a mystery!

Im glad to be back... driving my husband crazy. Yeah, in my "down time" I became a married lady with teenage step-daughters. Well, I guess I came back every once in a while... but not like this!
