But there are no problems with your account. You should be happy to hear that. :D

I trust that all GCers who get calls from Rachel -- or the similar calls about how the FBI says home break-ins are on the rise and you've won a free home alarm system -- know that this is scam to get your credit card info.

Haha, I just started getting the FBI ones. If they were from the FBI, wouldn't they know whether I had an alarm system or not? ;)

OMG I am so tired of election commercials. As if I would ever choose a candidate or change my opinion based on a television commercial.

Anything having to do with Todd Akin and his wacky comments.

When my cousin was here from Alaska she was shocked at the number of political ads we get here. Apparently the state is so 'red' that nobody bothers advertising there. So, you can always move to Alaska to escape them :)

PGD-GRAD 10-13-2012 01:11 PM

I agree with all of the above. I hardly watch the local news anymore because the whole half hour is a constant barrage of political ads, most of them from local races and most originating from those out-of-state pacs. Damn the Supreme Court!

Radio ads for The Shane Company. "Now YOU have a friend in the diamond business...".

No, no I don't. Also, listen to Tom Shane say the word designers. He pronounces the G.

Over 30 years I've had to hear that bozo flaunt his goods.

Xidelt 10-13-2012 01:41 PM

supposably
Sorry, genius. That isn't a real word.

ASUADPi 10-13-2012 02:58 PM

Mid Century Design.

Any piece of crap from 1940-1970 is marked with an inflated price tag and the title, "Mid Century"

Going forward....used in any meeting

Misuse of "begging the question".

Begging the question - rhetorical fallacy http://nizkor.org/features/fallacies...-question.html

NOT "That makes you ask the question . . ."
