BID DAY!
 

Today was the day! I could not wait any longer to find out where my new home was. I was terrified thinking about opening a bid to something other than Law and Order but tried to prepare myself for that possibility. I thought back on Burn Notice and how comfortable I felt and how beautiful and funny the girls were. I though back on Millionaire Matchmaker and how sweet the girls were and how beautiful the house was. Finally, after a week of hell and blistered feet, and hours of waiting, my rho gam started giving out bids. I waited for my name and I took a deep breath as she handed me the envelope. She was smiling at me as I opened my bid card to.............

yes 8 to 3! it is a huge jump, everyone was really stressed out that day about how they were going to list their houses.

YEESH. That's awful. If it were up to me It would go 16-10-6-3. But who am I to say :)

Could someone PM me the school, it's not where I thought it was. With 16 schools, early fall/summer recruitment and recs were not necessary to have a successful recruitment as a sophomore, I am stumped. I admit it, the no rec part stumped me.

She said she had NO recs, I cannot imagine having 10 recs you did not know about and she had a very successful sophomore recruitment, which we all know is not so easy at the school many of us assumed it might have been.

BTW, Congratulations to you Girl! on your successful re-rush! I hope you're having a great time with your fellow new members!

I didnt want to post my school because there are very few upperclassmen in my pc and i dont want to give myself away. but i will say im positive i had no recs. I didnt ask a single person to write me one and honestly dont know any greek alum personally. none of my family was greek. i was very surprised at the success i had but the main thing i did differently this year was majorly improve my gpa and get a little more involved on campus. its difficult as an upperclassman but it is possible.

Yes it was! And I have my own recruitment story in the works that I'll post when it's complete. :) I think it will be really good for future PNMs to read, since I learned so much about myself through the process.
