Uh, uh....Sir Fidel is the MASCOT. Our SYMBOL is the quadrafoil.

Sorry, that one was meant to be a trick.:p

Maybe if we throw some easier ones up here we will get more players.

Here's an easy one:

What are the three memorials left at Wesleyan by Phi Mu?

DeltaBetaBaby 12-15-2001 03:55 AM

Don't know. A memorial for each of the founders?

ladybug1116 12-15-2001 04:03 AM

Aren't the memorials trees or something?

Does anyone still have their Phi manuel? That's where I got the thing about Sir Fidel being our symbol :)

Gosh I am so tired but so nervous about graduating that I can't sleep and I need to be up in 3 hours!!!

PinkStar17 12-16-2001 03:00 AM

HMMMMMM
I have my phi manual still but thats cause i was innitiated in 2000,
ok heres the answer

3 magnolia trees,
chandeliers,
and a gate at wesleyan

all were donated to wesleyan by Phi Mu....

ok new question:
what was Phi Mu called before it was called Phi Mu, and what date did it adopt those greek letters?

PinkStar17 12-16-2001 03:05 AM

oh yeah!!!

PS.... CONGRATS to Ladybug on graduating...don't be nervous its going to be great!!!

PinkStar-- Thank you!!! :) It's been a great weekend and graduation was wonderful.

Phi Mu was the Philomathean Society and we adopted the letters Phi Mu in 1904 (the same year the badge we use now was adopted).

And I still have my Phi Manuel too and don't plan to get rid of it anytime soon :)

DeltaBetaBaby 12-16-2001 10:31 PM

Ladybug--
Congratulations and good luck!

I guess the lion is one of our symbols, but the quadrefoil is a simpler, more easily recognized one. So both answers would be correct.

Okay, another question....

Who is the current Vice President-Panhellenic?

PinkStar17 12-17-2001 03:20 AM

WOW! that one made me actually research! does that count?? lol

vice president panhellenic is Kathy Williams, Alpha Delta from the University of Mississippi

HMMMM next question:
In what year was CMN designated Phi Mu's national philantrophy ??

PS. Ladybug I PMed you but I have no idea how that works.. hmm let me know if u get it!

Correct! Bonus point if you can tell me to what food she is deathly allergic. I sat next to her at a dinner, and she had to leave the table when a certain something was served.

1986?

PinkStar17 12-18-2001 03:36 AM

nope! CMN was designated our national philantrophy in 1994 at the National Convention held in Atlanta

hmmm about the alergic food... i have no clue! i would email her but the chances that she would reply would probrably be slim considering she would think i was nuts!! but ill make a guess that it is hmmm something that would be in your dinner that wasnt easily seen since she didnt know it was there or she wouldnt have eaten it.. something maybe actually cooked into it???? i have no clue!!! do i get bonus points for trying?!!

Next question:
in what year did Phi Mu designate Founders Day Pennies and what was it designated for?
