I concur!

Maybe it is just me, but I thought the host & hostess last night for the pageant were stupid. I only watched because a Theta was in the running. After she didnt make the last cut, I cheered for Rhode Island. I felt she was the most genuine out of all of them and her answer to her question was great. The others faltered a bit and seemed to me to be a little overconfident.

I thought boobs were going to pop out of some of the dresses & bikini tops. I'm glad there were no nip-slips!

Miss Ohio's answer and use of "Pretty Woman" as a role model was cringeworthy.

I don't remember which state, but it was the last woman to walk. I was so nervous that she was going to pop out. I could literally see room between her and the top when she was bouncing/walking.

Amen. Of all the movies? Really?

She can't have been a liberal arts literature or fine arts film major and felt comfortable with that answer.

My 17 year old had control of the remote and I was idly watching. After Miss Ohio responded, my daughter asked me, "Is that the movie where she was a prostitute?" I nodded and she responded, "She's stupid" and then changed the channel.

Not only that, but Pretty Women is like 20 years old. Not exactly a relevant example.

I have a brown silk polka-dotted dress which is, I must say, quite cute. "That looks like the dress in "Pretty Woman!" I've been told, which I must admit made me think "Are you saying I look like a prostitute?"

I loved Miss Nevada's response to the Biden question: "well it was LIKE really late". Shut.Up.

I had a friend posting photos on facebook comparing the dresses of Miss Ohio and Miss Maryland to the gowns worn in the film To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar. It was rather eerie how similar they were dressed to Vida Boheme (Patrick Swayze) and Noxeema Jackson (Wesley Snipes).

Oh, I agree. I just watched the first elimination because I'll always cheer for Miss Washington. But she hardly ever makes it into the second round.

Miss Wyoming is an Alpha Phi, I know this is late but I just read that.
