But what about the slang terms that have made a comeback? Like: Wack Here in New York, people are running that word into the ground! "The shoes she wore were wack!" "slizzard" does mean to be tipsy or drunk. Here in the south we used to say, "You got me bent" (mixed up or "you don't know me)! We also used to say "M.B." or "emboosticated" (means embarrassed).

I recently read an article that said the word cool has been in use as slang since the early 1900s. I think it's here to stay.
remember: lunchin' trippin' buggin' ya'll said old school but do people around you use popped? the young folks round here use it all the time. |
We would end phrases with "...than a mug"
For example: I'm hotter than a mug I'm hungry than a mug She blacker than a mug I'm broke like a mug Salty That's ill Grimey |
