Here's my hunch, ladies, based on those tweets. I think the Texas State offer has been made, and Gamma Phi is negotiating/determining the timing, what with the rush of sudden colonization announcements, before the announcement is made. That's just a guess. If there is housing to be arranged, then I think that's even a stronger possibility.

On a note about twitter, I noticed that the official Gamma Phi twitter account was pumping up and finally announced the USF expansion today (about 6 hours ago), when the USF Panhel twitter announced it yesterday. It does seem like Gamma Phi is cautiously announcing these expansions, but with three announcements in barely more than a week, I'd want to draw the magic out a little, too!

As of right now there are no empty houses in Greek Village and I dont think they are planning on building more anytime soon.

I am thrilled about USF and Gamma Phi! I too wish this had happened a couple of decades ago when I was stationed at MacDill. Our alumnae chapter always traveled to FSU to help during rush etc and we always said we hoped that one day we'd get to colonize at USF! Love that campus and that city (Tampa, where both my sons were born) - I am just very happy!!:D:D:D
