DZ born, DZ bred, and when I die I'll be DZ dead (hoping someone remembers to bury my badge with me so that it doesn't end up on Ebay)!

F*%)n drew blood with the needle permanently marking me with the Phi , Kappa and Theta baby. Permanently etched on my flesh and my heart. Used to be an anti greek before I understood what it REALLY meant, now 100% a part of who I am.

To quote the great rush tee shirt I saw once:

"Greek by choice, Delt by the grace of God!"

100% Greek.

And...

100% fraternity/sorority pin/badge collector.

For everyone worried about having your badge end up in the hands of a collector, here's a suggestion that DZ Headquarters gave my chapter years ago:

Leave a signed note in the place where your badge is kept, stating that it is your wish that your badge be buried with you upon your death or sent back to National Headquarters. Enclose the address of your National HQ in the note. :)

Even though I'm only 26, I already have a note in my badge box, just in case something should ever happen to me.

I *am* a member of a greek organization. I am *not* Greek, I'm an American.
:)
When I was in college, there was a huge sign up in the student media building that read:
"greek"--a member of a greek-letter organization.
"Greek"--a person from Greece
The two should not be confused.

Definitely greek :) (with a small g ;) )

Hmm... I hadn't really thought about what will happen to my badges (one AEPhi, one from my local) when I die. My husband won't know what to do with them. I guess I'd better have a daughter some day who joins AEPhi ;) I have no clue what to do with my local badge, though - the group it represents no longer exists.

AETT Alum, I gave my local Badge and a pledge button that I designed to my Chapter.

They need a little history of their roots!:)

My Local Badge and Pledge Button are one of two sets, The International has one set!
