We like our sleep number bed for this reason. I can easily move the bed around the room to clean or rearrange, since it is light, and it is easy to adjust firmness/softness for two different sleepers. We've had no problems with it.

Tempurpedic is supposed to be fantastic, but I've heard that they are heavy compared to regular mattressses. You might want to check on that if you think you'll be moving again.

I have a Latex foam bed that I love also. Most awesome bed ever.

Coming into this thread pretty late, but that's where we got our last bed after looking seriously at both Tempurpedic and Sleep Number beds. Traditional box spring and insanely deep pillow top mattress and still in impeccable condition after almost three years. I'll buy another one there without hesitation.

We bought the Sleep Number bed about five years ago. It also had a layer of memory foam. I loved it UNTIL, we bought a vacation home and got a Tempurpedic in the deal. I would never consider anything else. It will be the best purchase you make.

We got a Tempurpedic Rhapsody bed in January and LOVE it. My husband likes firm-firm mattresses, but I like something a little softer. This was our compromise. It was pretty hard for the first couple of months, but now it's softened just a tad and it's so comfortable. Our last bed (which I bought a few years ago and is now a guest room bed) was a Sealy Posturepedic pillow top, which I found comfortable but my husband hated - it was too soft. Also, I would never again buy a pillow top mattress because they develop body indentations after a little while, which makes the pillow top useless and even painful (and impossible to rotate).

I'm with you on the pillow tops. Nothing makes you feel in need of a major diet like looking at the outline of your body in your bed.

I still think I'm gonna go with the Sleep Number because as a niece put it, she moved her king size bed in her car. But when we find ourselves in a long term situation (whatever THAT means) I will definitely consider the Tempurpedic.

Tonight's the night! First night in our Sleep Number bed. They say give it 2-3 nights on a setting before adjusting. So here's to night #1 at a 35. I believe Mr. DubaiSis is trying out a 70.
