But you get a lot of playtime at work, even when the bigwigs are there. lol! (I'm kidding) :p

A rotation on Sirius/XM including Howard 100, 1st Wave, 80s on 8, E Street Radio, Classic Rewind, Classic Vinyl, Deep Tracks, On Broadway, NHL Home Ice (depends on time of day/live programming) and Underground Garage.

Press the search button, and when it lands on something worthwhile I hit the keep button (prevents the distracted driving of constant button-punching for good music/info).

I have no commute. I work from home. :D

Of course, the nice thing about working from a home office is that it's just me and my cat, so I can play whatever I want while I'm working - no need for headphones. So I usually run my favorite iTunes playlist, which includes a mix of Evanescence, Within Temptation, Linkin Park, and some other odds and ends.

If I'm feeling up to some music, I'll pop in a cd. I have Marina and the Diamonds, Beach House, the Deftones, Crystal Castles and all sorts of weird stuff floating in my car.

Yes! I listen to EITM too. And then, on the way home, it is XM Alt Nation, Lithium, New Wave, or sometimes, depending on when I leave work, I listen to Andrew Wilkow or Hannity.

Evanescence is one of my all time favorite bands. I was pretty upset when they "broke up" and Amy Lee did her own thing for a while. Now, apparently, they're back together. I love their new single!

I like NPR, too. Diane Rehm is the best. She sounds like she's really old, but from what people have told me, she isn't.

She's in her mid-70s, but the voice thing you hear from her isn't age, it's spasmodic dysphonia, which she has had since 1998.

She really is fantastic, I think. Particularly impressive given that she didn't even go to college.

NPR.
I live three miles from where I work which isn't enough time for audiobooks.

Driving to work:
usually Tom Joyner or Rickey Smiley, depending on mood.

Driving home:
usually one of two sportstalk stations, or a CD

Diane Rehm is fantastic. I have ranted about her awesomeness in the "What Do You Feel Like Saying..." thread. A lot of people think she's elderly until they see a photo of her and then find out about spasmodic dysphonia.

When I'm not listening to my iPod, I also enjoy BBC World, Conservative Talk, and Liberal Talk, too. XM Radio is awesome, and for the price, it isn't a bad deal. When I bought my Jeep last summer, it came with 3 free months of XM Radio. I enjoyed it so much, that I decided to keep it. It's normally $12.95/month, but I decided on the 2-year plan, because it averaged out to be cheaper. Plus, they gave me an additional 3 free months. The quarterly plan is nice, too.
