I belive it is possible to be an RA and greek at the same time. However, from personal experiance, it is not possible to be a RA and pledge. We had a problem with that this semester as we had a sophmore who was pledging, and had to depledge because she would miss three out of four nights that were required by the sorority, including initiation. There is just to much to juggle while pledgeing. However, I do think it is possible to be an RA after you are brother or sister, because the time demands are less. I hope this helps!

I'm an RA. It's not a problem at all . . . just be careful during the application process; many assumptions were made about my personality and qualifications based solely upon my greek affiliation . . . I had to face a lot of stupid questions. That sucked. The job's not bad though - pretty easy, great pay.
