I loved loved loved the book...until the end. Not sure I can watch the movie. I am not sure I buy Anne Hathaway in that role. As I was reading, I pictured someone much different.

Now that you mention it... yea, it was terrible. And that's a shame, because I really liked the rest of the movie.

LOL.

I have to say, the ending to 'I am Legend' was pretty damn bad.

Lol..well I guess? Idk, I just didnt see the Sep 11th thing coming until the scene where the little sister is in school and the date is on the chalkboard...so maybe I just liked the whole "surprise! its 9/11/01" twist..Ill have to watch it again, only seen it once.

Worse. If he had just died after hanging on for hours, he should have floated when she pried him loose and let him go. He sank, so he would have had to have still been alive when she was rescued?

:0 Well, that's terrifying

The Skeleton Key. I don't know that it was bad, per se, but it left me with a queasy feeling. Made me wish I hadn't watched the movie.

I love The Wizard of Oz and it's "was it a dream or wasn't it" ending. And it is THE ONLY movie that is allowed to use this convention. I was so mad at Atonement I sneaked into another movie to get my money's worth. I cannot tell you how much I hated that movie.

I loved that ending! I would have listed it as one of my favorites.

Skyline. Woof, that was 2 hours I wanted back because of the ending.

I also got that reaction with Monty Python and the Holy Grail, but in a completely different way.

I love Monty Python and the Holy Grail, but it's difficult for me to watch because I know I'll just hit that disappointing, unsatisfying, unfunny brick wall at the end. Still a great movie, but why couldn't they have given it a proper ending?

I kinda think they meant it that way.

I don't hardly ever make it past the Knights who say Ni, anyway. The first 30 minutes or so are the best part anyway, and I could watch that on loop, but it does go downhill quite fast.

Generally speaking, I hate any movie that ends by setting up a sequel.

I also didn't like the ending of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. I know the ending followed the epilogue of the book, but I didn't like the epilogue in the book either.

I actually didn't mind the epilogue (though it does bug me that everyone else I talked to actually saw the adult Draco and I missed him), what completely wierded me out what the fact that Harry broke the elder wand rather than restoring it to Dumbledore's crypt.

YES!!! I really wanted to see Harry's final talk with Dumbledore's portrait. Returning to wand to Dumbledore's tomb was Harry's way of peacefully accepting "what will be." Breaking it was taking fate into his own hands which he had thus far refused to do. That scene was totally against his character. :(
