On the official Miss America and Miss Arkansas websites Kristen Glover is listed as Miss Arkansas, not Kelsey Dow. Kristen attended Ouachita Baptist University (as Wavy says) with no sororities.

ETA: Never mind. Kaitlin Monte isn't SDT. We actually have TWO sisters competing in the Miss New York pageant (I think it feeds into Miss USA, not Miss America). So good luck to both of them!

DH is hogging the tv (we finally got cable installed today!) - I did hear that Miss SC is still in the running, though. More news?

Miss Indiana is my chapter sister's cousin!

I thought Miss Texas' piano piece was well done. I picked her out from the intros and thought she'd be in the final group. I picked Tennessee and California from the intros too. I correctly got 10 out of the top 15. :)

Well since my sorority sister is now out, I'm rooting for anyone Panhellenic :)

Miss America 2012 is Miss Wisconsin, Laura Kaeppeler (Carthage College.) First runner up is Miss Oklahoma, Betty Thompson (Oklahoma State University.) Second runner up is Miss New York, Kaitlin Monte (University of Tampa.)

Carthage College has two NPC orgs (Alpha Chi Omega and Chi Omega) plus four locals. I'm not sure if Laura is affiliated.

As far as I can determine, 1st runner up Betty Thompson is a Pi Phi. She was a pageant rookie when she won Miss OSU!

An interesting bit of trivia: Miss Colorado, Diana Dreman, is the daughter of 1974 Miss America Rebecca Ann King. She is the first daughter of a former Miss America to take a state title.
