Our Greek Week is this week. Currently we arer on top.. We won lyp sync, second year in a row. Its all about the dance routine at our school. Anyway, it goes until Friday, which is Greek Olympics, MY FAVORITE event, all outside, warm and sunny, and kinda a celebration of spring. I am all pagen like that. Anyway, it is pretty cool. We were really hyped after we won lyp sync and one of the undergrads mentioned that "MAn, people are really gonna hate us no." ('cause we won IFC b-ball, and got first in grades, and had a killer party.) I told him that I'd rather us be hated than ignored.

Go Sigma!!!! Last week was EMU's Greek Week too, and it was awesome as usual!! My sorority, Sigma Sigma Sigma, won again for the 4th year in a row!! Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity won again too for the 2nd year in a row! There was LOTS of good competition as usual, but everyone kept good sportsmanship the whole time!!! Good Job to all the sororities and fraternities!!!
P.S. Sig Eps....it's gonna be you next year!!!

Okay! WE WON TUG!! That is huge bragging rights on our campus because you start working out in the fall and start practicing with the rope and 4 on 4 in the spring. It takes forever!! But we FULL PULLED ALL THREE TIMES!!! That means instead of a full 3 minutes we pulled them three feet.

I am proud to say that AXiD won Greek Week this year. We were teamed up with Lambda Chi Alpha and beat everyone by at least 200 points (I think). Got to love those Lambda Chi's! Sigma Tau Gamma came in second along with one of the local sororities here. We got booed, but their just jealous ;~)

Right now we are in the middle of Greek Week. Theta is on top, as of now, I'm happy to say!!!! Pike is on top for now for the fraternities.

Historically, Theta and XO usually win Greek Week for the sororities...for the fraternities: SAE, Pike, EX, and Sigma Phi Epsilon have all won multiple times in the past decade...

Oh yes, about the tug-of-war...about 2 weeks before Greek Week--I saw a bunch of fraternity guys in a Health Club--mostly EX's, SAE's, and Pikes, and they were trying to lift the heaviest weights LOL...my sorority also went there to get in "buffer shape" for the tug-of-war.

theta cutie... i'm a theta at USC! where do you go to school? would love to chat with you! greek week is coming up and i would love to get some fresh ideas...

theta love, courtney

Hi our greek week started monday. This is my first greek week. So I have to ask a question. Monday night we had a "greek godess" competion, do you guys have this to?
I think that it was sort of demeaning because girls were dancing in bikinis and what not and it was supported by IFC.
