Hee, hee...newbie thinks she owns her thread. Dr.Phil and Sen know each other well so don't worry about the asshole comment. You should, however, be worrying about giving so much personal information out on a public website. We have a history here at GC of PNMs getting identified at recruitment from things they've said here. Practice a little discretion.

You felt the need to include this because.....

And it was a valid question, not a rude question at all.

longhornbaby16, a word of advice: No one has been rude to you (the a-hole comment was not directed at you and was a playful exchange between to regular GCers), but you have consistently been given very good advice. You put enough information in your first post that you can easily be identified come recruitment time. As AOII Angel said, for better or worse, some posters who didn't practice some discretion have found that comments made at GC affected their recruitment experiences, sometimes severely. It has happened with posters going through recruitment at a number of schools, including Texas.

So when people suggest that you edit your post and be careful what you say from now on, they are giving you very helpful advice you would do well not to ignore.

THanks everyone...but as for the ass hole comment and the rudeness for me calling myself pretty...i'm not looking for any of that here so i would appreciate it if you would keep those comments to yourself. they are unneccesary and are not helping my current situation. so please take your negativity elsewhere.

You are not observant enough to take a step back and think. It is always amusing when hopefuls try to exchange words with Greeks. Get over yourself in time for recruitment.

Good luck, self-professed pretty girl with a 4.0 GPA and absolutely no common sense.

Threads can not be deleted, except by a moderator. You may delete your original post, however, one poster did already quote you. Asking nicely for him to delete may work, and then again, it may not.

The members on this forum can be very helpful when you heed their advice. Challenging them and getting an attitude only hurts yourself.

Thanks! i wasnt trying to give attitude i just felt it was unnecessary...and yea thats why i came to this website because i figured i could get great advise! and i have thus far (:

@MC, should have specified that no one said anything derogatory about it. hate how slow I type on my phone and equally hate how I can't get GC at work anymore. Sorry, my bad! :o

Because you do not understand. Learn to observe or ask questions when you do not understand. And you were trying to give attitude as though you could tell me something. Don't deny it just because it didn't work. LOL.

I edited my original post a day later. Let that be a lesson to you all.
