- My business web site
- My LinkedIn profile - Something I hadn't heard of before, "pipl.com". They've got my correct name and age, but according to them, I currently live in six cities, including my in-laws' home city (where I have never lived), and my father's last name is my married name. (Wait until I tell him that!! LOL) - Credits for a couple of board and card games I've playtested - Credits for some charitable donations I've made |
"FirstName MarriedName"
All me. All charity events and links to sponsor pages "Firstname MaidenName" Some weird foreign people |
Things that are true:
My name on the Dean's List for 5 semesters (like a boss) My name on my chapter's Facebook page. Things that are not true: I'm a former Fulbright scholar from Paris (oh if only!) I'm an actress I'm a teacher I have a mom blog |
Firstname Lastname? A million hits, all unrelated to me (I have a pretty common first and last name).
Firstname MI Lastname? Same thing. Firstname Middlename Lastname? I have an unusual middle name, so this is how I can pull up hits. There were some school related blog posts that I made when I was still an education major. There's also a listing that I danced in our school's dance marathon. There's also a facebook group that I made about how my name is the best ever (because literally, 8 people on fb have my exact same first and last name). Oh the internet. If you knew all my different usernames over the years, you could find a lot more, but I was never stupid enough to put my real name on anything, so it would take some MAJOR creepage to find those. Heck I even forget how to get to some of them. |

I found a few things that really are me using my middle name, too. Found some honors from high school and something I posted to my history teacher's Facebook wall about the caning of Charles Sumner. But apparently there's a published historian named Middlename Lastname so most of the things that came up were from her. |
My first name is somewhat common, but my last name is extremely uncommon. It's very similar to a more popular name, though.
When I google "FirstName LastName," everything is true: Items related to my undergrad and master's theses My jobs--both past and present Races I've run Charities with which I've volunteered or to which I've donated Random nonsense from classmates.com Events I've organized |
