My pet peeve is when you're able to book 2-3 contractors for the same day, and NONE of them show up! Or, you have two things next to each other that need to be fixed, and then they both show up at the same time, making bothjobs twice as long!

A sorority sister of mine moved into one of the first finished houses in a subdivision. While they were building her house, and for several months afterward, she regularly made cookies for the guys who were doing the work. They were really responsive to her when she found problems she needed them to come and fix!

I'm anticipating dealing with some of this soon.. <fingers crossed> I have started collecting information from other people who have things done. Word of mouth is key, I think.
