Last night, I dreamed that I lived in a shack that looked like a mansion on the inside (like the camping tent used at the Quidditch World Cup that expanded into a flat when you walk in). I had a tea party with Mad Hatter to celebrate me going off to Hogwarts the next day.

If this isn't a book or a game, I'm not interested. I'm not interested in a Harry Potter smartphone or any more piddly companion books either, unless it's a history of Hogwarts.

I'm slightly miffed that it's supposedly not a book.
I don't really know what else I'd be interested in.
I don't really care about all those mini books either....

I was hoping it was the story of Harry's parents and the events leading up to their death/Harry's survival

Also, if it's the story of their kids, there is no way I will keep characters straight. I did not like the kids being named after everyone in the first place.

Well she said she'd be putting previously unreleased material online there too. From what I gathered (although she certainly wasn't very specific in her youtube video) it would be a kind of fan fiction site. Maybe? Or maybe I heard that completely incorrectly.

Whatevs, all I heard is that she'll be releasing some kind of new material. Web form or not, it's something.

REALLY?

1) JK Rowling should have EXPECTED an overwhelming demand in the planning of this, especially based on what she said at the beginning of the video about her loyal readers and still recieving hundreds of letters every day.
2) If you can't even submit an email address now, I am already anticipating many glitches and setbacks in the actual execution of this project.

I had to try to submit mine 3 times before it would actually accept it. It definitely should have been better prepared. Still, I'm excited!!

That's what I gathered and how I feel about it.

One of my kids at the hospital showed me her Twilight encyclopedia and I got jealous. Come on, J.K., GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT!!!!

ETA: My e-mail went through on the first try. It seems they've gotten themselves together.
