Am I the only one who couldn't stand Iveta?

There's something about her that I haven't liked from day 1. I'll admit she's good, but to me, she's weird looking and doesn't seem to have a "dancer's body". And she lacks a personality.

I'm not that upset to see her go.

I loved watching her dance. I can't stand Ryan or Melanie (I think that's her name? The contemporary girl? Talk about no personality!). Although if I could choose to vote anyone off it would be Mary Murphy! :p

I noticed last night that it is almost as if the powers that be at "SYTCD" did a makeover to soften her look. Her makeup and hair was much more flattering during the background piece they did. Even my husband noticed it. I think because she is so much older, it would be hard for her to connect with the target audience. I think they kept her because she was the only really talented ballroom dancer this year from auditions.

I read this morning that the judges had all intent on keeping Iveta and Nick until they saw the solos. After that, they felt like Ricky truly excelled, and they couldn't get rid of him.

What about Ryan though? Her solo wasn't good.

No, I can't stand her, either. She looks like she has had so much plastic surgery- she has that pulled-super-tight look to her face.

Overall, I'm rather underwhelmed by this season. Also, I liked Nick, he was something different.

Thoughts on last night? I liked most of the dances. Quite a lot of sexual tension in most all of them last night.
I think the show should have a PG13 rating though. I understand you have to be 18 to be on it, but it is a family show and little kids watch. At least mine does. Maybe I'm just a bad parent and shouldn't be letting him watch it anyway? :) I guess he'll just have a much broader mind than I did at his age.

I completely agree with you... and I don't have kids. Of course dancing is "sexual" in some sense, but I feel like this season is pushing the envelope more so than any other. And while that "I don't know who the hell I'm waking up next to" dance ended up being kinda cute in a way, even the girl dancing it wasn't completely comfortable with the concept.

I am SO ready to see Ryan go. Just so so ready.

Anddd she's GONE!! I might have yelled THANK YOU when it was announced. Everything about her dance and her outfit today just seemed weird and off, and she was STILL smiling that same silly smile. ughhh.
I'm pretty happy with the top ten, but I totally missed most of the names of the All-Stars so thankfully it is recorded. I can't wait for next week!

Did Ricky leave with Ryan? I really like him, and well...couldn't stand her.

No Ricky is still in it. They actually split up a couple, which I was happy about. Alexander is the guy they dropped.
