1) if you want to wear crazy heels PRACTICE wearing them. especially on the stairs. Too many women looked like giraffes trying to walk in monster heels.
2) if you wear spanx, please have someone stand behind you and check that the slit on the back on your skirt is not so high that the spanx can be seen. If the slit is that high, you might want to wear a different skirt.
3) if you wear a strapless dress, make sure it fits you up top. not attractive to see so many people tugging on the their dresses. Also, please wear the proper bra with said dresses.
4) if you are wearing a light colored skirt/dress, keep in mind the color of your undergarments. Flesh toned probably would work best.

I am so stealing this and sharing with every one of my Recruitment Advisers and VPMRs.

And yes, we were texting AOIIalum all weekend with the updates, and I had to try and explain to the other advisors how I knew her, but had never actually met her.

I'm a member of a GLO at Oklahoma State and had the privilege to go to the Colonization Ceremony. It was beautiful! The hall it took place in was PACKED with people...parents, friends, AOIIs from nearby chapters and just about all of Panhellenic and IFC was there. Everyone is truly glad and excited to have yall join the OSU family! :) Here are some pictures from bid day that morning and from the ceremony later in the day that I gathered from various friends of mine.

The back of the shirts say "The OSU family just got a little bigger!"

Panhellenic Executives wore these shirts the week before recruitment, and I thought they were so cute, since they incorporate the schools logo, so I just had to show them too!

We appreciate all the support your community has shown us in this process. It is truly been amazing! I think the OSU Greek Community is a model for how to ensure a successful colonization. Why open for expansion then fight the new group? You guys are awesome!

Ditto! As an AOII Network Volunteer, I've gotten so many updates on our new colony and it's been a joy to see the support and enthusiasm from the Oklahoma State Community. Even the brand new AOII wooden letters in the bid day picture above were a gift from the OSU Panhellenic. Even Pistol Pete stopped by Bid Day to show support. AOII is so glad to be part of the OSU Greek Community!

Umber of parties girls could have had was 3 and we hosted 3 parties. Friday is pref; I can't wait for bid day so I can meet my new sisters :D

Delta Xi's numbers grew a bit more tonight from CR! I'm so excited I just had to get it out, but I'll get back to you with numbers after I verify how many girls accepted their bids.
