I created two Amazon lists inspired by this thread:

Rashid Darden Presents Fraternity and Sorority Books

Rashid Darden Presents Fraternity and Sorority Books You Do Not Need

Rashid, I would suggest that either the names of the Amazon lists be changed or the description be made clearer that the need/don't need here applies to NPHC groups only.

Unless of course, you intended to put "Pledged" in the list of "Fraternity and Sorority books that reading them makes you *less* likely to be able to join a Fraternity or Sorority" :)

People will be able to tell by reading the lists whether they apply to them. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

BTW, I own three of the ones on the Good list (In search of Sisterhood, Black Greek 101 and Black Haze) and none on the bad list.

Do you own Lazarus, Covenant, and Epiphany?

naraht 03-21-2012 01:07 PM

They weren't on the list. :)

Seriously, which method of purchase puts the most in your pocket, through Amazon, createspace or somewhere else?

Senusret I 03-21-2012 01:08 PM

CreateSpace, please :-)

Thanks for bumping this, actually. One of my castmates is really interested in NPHC (she's older than I am and probably graduated from college before I was even born), and she admitted that, since she's new to town, she's got to start figuring out where to go. I hope I can point her in the direction of this thread and these books!

Bumping for the wanderers, and because I updated the Alpha book info.
