Also who says that they have wonderful character? That's just a weird way to talk about one's self.

Drolefille: I can say I have good character. It's a fact. If you can't say anything good about myself, how can I expect any one else too. Your sarcasm neither helped nor hurt me so your comment was pretty useless. And if you're judging such a small part of my post, maybe your character isn't all that great..am I being sarcastic??? Maybe. Good day.

Real Life Tip: You can say you have good character by demonstrating it through your actions. "I believe I have strong character because..."

Sure you can.

You'd need to operationalize a definition of character first. I can't speak to the accuracy of your comment.

I can't say a single thing good about your grammar, so there's that.

Yet, since it led to a really amusing thread elsewhere, it was not nearly as useless as your entire post.

Again we need to operationalize the definition here. If your definition of "character" is non-sarcastic, then clearly you're superior to us lowly peons. But such a definition would speak volumes about your scientific education.

Oh gee whiz I hope not. That would just be terrible.

Maybe.

Good day.
You run along now and ask the internet some more questions that a long line of women with whom you are already acquainted could have answered for you.

NPHC aspirants who don't know to search for this info without coming to GC are probably not yet keen enough for membership. And GCers going on and on about a C+ GPA without knowing AKA's GPA requirements need to have a seat. This is a question about AKA membership and not about the sciences or graduation.

Thanks for your reply. I have searched for this information. And I have been to the official site many times, but the site doesn't answer my question. Honestly I wanted peoples helpful opinions, or experiences and not a rude or stupid comment they too immature to keep to themselves. So thanks for that.

Just because I'll be going into my 5th year in school doesn't mean I don't have anything to contribute to the sorority. I just wanted to know if like me, people understand that. AKA, Inc. is a sorority all about service. Some women pledge for the letters and the colors and you never see them again. Some might be geniuses with 4.0 gpa's but as soon as they cross you never see them again. I realize that and have seen it time and time again, which is why I'm asking how much grades play in.

As I suspected, you're an idiot. Not because of your C+ but because you don't know when to log off and pursue the resources that you have available to you.

You say that you come from a "long line of women who are AKAs"...

If this is true, then how come you're not asking them your questions? I would imagine they'd be able to offer you the helpful opinions and experiences you seek. Their insight would be much more valuable than that of strangers on an online message board, no?

DrPhil's responses in that thread are the best. I was dying. Live-in thought I lost my mind, so I tried to read them to him, cracked up the entire way, and he didn't get it anyway since he's not acquainted with the particular usernames that post on this particular forum.

Yours were good, too, but both he and I are not particularly fans of the My Little Pony pr0n.

Well that was seriously a waste of your time. It's not because of your sarcasm that I think you have no character. It's the fact that I asked a serious question and you tried to belittle me instead of giving a serious answer. And then for you to have the time to dissect every sentence that I wrote in order to be an idiot, or to get a laugh from somebody. That, along with your complete lack of understanding, is what allows me to measure your character. So go ahead and reply to this with another immature comment so I may measure your character even more.

We can now see why you're almost a 5th year senior who is still searching for the answer to your extremely basic question. Meanwhile, deserving women who want to be AKAs are handling their business and moving forward.

You have the attention span of a puppy that can't figure out why its excitedly evasive tail keeps running from its mouth no matter how hard it chases it.

I've asked them as well, and they were helpful. But why get the opinions of family members when I could get the opinions from many more people all over the globe? Every person's experience is different. It makes more sense to ask as many people as possible. My family's insight is very valuable, and more valuable than some of those who've replied on this site thus far. The whole point of a message board is to talk to other people, whether it's to get information or have friendly conversation. I chose this avenue because I knew I could reach a lot of people who were familiar with Greek life, and that I'd get a quick response.

If you're this dumb when you talk to the AKAs, look forward to more evasive tails.

I'm not a 5th year senior. If your attention span wasn't so short maybe you'd know that.
