I remember the Duke Lacrosse GC Race Wars. Those were some fun times. I had a back and forth with MysticCat in which he respectfully and quite maturely told me to kiss his attorney-jurisprudence-ass (my words, not his). LOL.

I wasn't following it, but the article came up in my news feed during Thanksgiving. Figured I'd pass it on.

That was one of the last Epic Race Wars. We've had a few since then but I feel like the early aughts were rife with race wars on the Internet.

Let's just say this case appeared to be a constant nightmare for the succession of defense attorneys.

I didn't find any exchanges between you and me, but I did find one post where I said "I think DSTChaos is right" and one message where you said "I think MysticCat is right." So just what are you trying to pull here? That's what I would like to know, thank you very much.

The GC race war is comparable to the non-Internet race war that happened during the Duke lacrosse nonsense.

There was only one of any length that I could find—it was the one where macallan opined on the possibility of race riots in Durham. Good times. I do miss macallan.

I do have some vague recollection of another GC Race War thread where there was some back and forth. But you and I can go at it now, if you want to. :p
