I'm not sure how she could have received "several" Ivy League acceptances and scholarships, when Ivy Group admissions decisions aren't released until this evening. As it stands, only about 3 have early admissions programs where she could apply to more than one. The rest have binding early decision or early action programs.
This girl AND her mother are probably both cray cray. I think she's trying to cover for her batshit daughter. |
Perhaps she pistol whipped her way out of those binding agreements.

I think she should turn this into admissions essays for grad schools.
"How I got into several Ivy League colleges early, OR, How I spent my summer vacation." "When I was a senior in high school, I was the smartest person that ever lived. My unique drive and determination in getting what I want allowed me to be admitted and have full scholarships to every single Ivy League School Ever (except Penn, because that place sucks, amirite?). This was never more on display than the time my bitch of a mom wouldn't cosign my loan for a used Nissan. So, determined to get what I want, I pistol whipped her into signing. If the salesman had stopped me, I'd have pistol whipped that bitch, too." Step 1: Gain admission into undergrad. Step 2: Pistol whip mother. Step 3: ????? Step 4: PROFIT! |

So, is this the point where we can stop using "HONOR STUDENT" as some sort of splooge-worthy indicator of future astronaut- or president-type status?
Look, high school just isn't that competitive. Beyond that, there is a link between intelligence at a young age and certain types of crimes (and between perception of own intelligence and imagined propensity to get away with crime - usually including a mitigating element such as bipolor or borderline traits), and between feelings of deservedness and criminal behavior. Stop massaging the balls (whether literal or figurative) of every smart high school kid, and you'll be much less surprised when they're pushing oxy or impregnating 3 girls or pistol-whipping mom. "Getting into Cornell" has nothing to do with "should know better than to commit a crime." In fact, it might be just the opposite. |

At least this all happened before they dropped beaucoup bucks for an Ivy (and before she took the spot of a student who truly wants to be there). I also want to know what kind of "drugs" she was doing. Nowadays, drugs could be NyQuil or aspirin. Not only that, I don't know where the "suddenly" is coming from - she could have been using for years. |

Those are results of the prohibition of drugs, not the drugs themselves. The prohibition of drugs has caused far more harm to people (in terms of loss of freedom, private property, death, and so on) than the drugs themselves. For someone who claims to say "fuck you" to anyone who dares tread on female reproductive rights and homosexuality, you've now become totalitarian on what someone might want to do with their own body. Oh, the hypocrisy. |

Also, how do I "claim to say fuck you?" Citation please. |
