I loved BSC too! Congrats on a great rush, and to you and Chi O!

Congrats to you!

Wow, the Babysitters Club names totally brought back memories of reading those books. Although the only thing I specifically remember now about the stories was how cool I thought Stacey was for being able to give herself insulin shots. Total B.A. And that I asked my parents for a private phone line because one of the girls in the books had one. I did not get one.

This totally brought back memories... Remember how they all had their own handwritten journal entries or whatever? I liked the way Stacey wrote the letter "s" so I started writing it that way.

I'm sure it was much less dramatic than I remember, but fourth grade me had a huge ordeal with this. My teacher thought I learned the style from her and talked to my mom about it, apologizing for it! Why in the world would a teacher talk to your mom about a silly thing like how you write an S? I have no idea. My mom was not very involved so it's not like she was a heli-mom. I changed the way I wrote "s"s shortly after... and that started many years of having a new handwriting style every few months.
