Well he transfered and just started this semster. Yeah, I figured there would be opposition. I would love to have 10 interest but I do not know how to go about getting 10. Senusret I as soon as we get some people that can make it all the way through. LOL

UTA has 30-something organizations on campus, so expanding is already hard. Within MGC (the only group that isn't in MGC is SLB), there are 3 fraternities and 6 sororities. I think it would be great to have another national LGLO on campus, but several of the local organizations try to prevent that. Just giving you a heads up.

Oops! LOL

Yeah, I know how that is. Plus there's not exactly a huge pool to draw from in the first place.

I'm sorry, but when those LSUs came to Georgetown and stepped with machetes back in 2000, I was SOLD. And I have never seen an unattractive LSU. Berto would understand.

Monarca, please don't be unattractive.

(we really should have put a trademark on that back in the day, but what can you do?)

Monarca7 01-27-2011 03:22 PM

sad face?

LatinaAlumna 01-27-2011 03:27 PM

Well, I am not sure what year your organization introduced machetes into its performances, but this has been something very sacred to my sorority that goes back almost to our founding. I know for sure we are the first sorority to ever use machetes, but now I see LOTS of organizations doing it, and it's a little disheartening. Again, if your org. has been using machetes prior to 1989, more power to you. If not...well, I'm not sure what to say.

Monarca7 01-27-2011 03:28 PM

LOL we should have also I guess!
