You didn't make this crystal clear, but if the only way you know that no chapters are doing informal is through your friend, sign up with the Greek Affairs office anyway. She may not have all the facts, and you're not out anything by putting yourself out there.

The take-away from your guy friend should be, consider yourself as rushing every day. Sleeping with the football team or several girls' boyfriends or passing out in the lobby of a fraternity house is no way to win friends or influence people. If you're on a smaller campus, many of the sorority women will know you, and that can be a help or a hindrance. You can make the choice as to how you're seen on campus.

Oh goodness no this guy is not my friend ahaha he has a thing with my friend who is gonna rush in the fall. But there is not an informal rush in the spring....nobody is doing it. The Panhellenic booth told me this also. I talked to some of my sorority friends today at the spring organization fair, and I still went in with more questions. It went really well by the way.

I will prolly make a new thread through my experiences again or continue on this one. But yes, I def know to clean up my facebook...however I do not have anything to hide.

To FSUzeta: I'm in a couple different organizations and one of them does pertain to my major :D I still hang out with my sorority friends and one of them gave me wonderful advice :)
