You are being asked to clarify your statements re: receiving multiple bids, and being a rho gam. DF didn't yell at you. I haven't yelled at you. Yet.

That's because your synapses are firing in syncopated rhythm at best.
But may any and all deities help me because I'm going to TRY to explain it to you.

k_s asked the OP if the OP was able to get multiple bids. Your answer was that it is possible to get multiple bids at some schools. That is not helpful information as k_s, though occasionally forgetful, has been around for quite a while and knows that. Also, it was not the question asked. The only person who could answer the question asked was, in fact, the OP.

Your reply was completely irrelevant and self-centered which is unsurprising but has become irritating as it has been a persistant pattern since your ill-advised entry onto this website. You've not shown that you've learned anything since then either.

Well I hope nobody gets mad but while people are looking ha what does everyone think about this outfit for the recruitment- they told us nice tops and heels

A little confusing but the dress on the LEFT is the STYLE and the one on the RIGHT is the COLOR/PATTERN. Might wear tights with this, either black or dark tan?
Thoughts?

OH god. I'm so stupid haha

Drolefille 01-06-2011 01:36 AM

Oh dear god fix the HTML.

You can't use brackets on forums you need to use IMG code

AZTheta 01-06-2011 01:37 AM

^^ can you fix your post? (to the OP) Would help us to give constructive input.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, BTW...

(To Drolefille and Barbie's_Rush, I am howling with laughter, thank you both for taking my mind off things for a while.)

Please excuse me. Please. I am literally THAT stupid. Honestly. I'm not trolling or trying to get attention or anything. I am just a moron. Please believe me, I'm trying to admit this and tell you I'm not trying to get attention. I'm just really dumb

*glares*

Hopefully my NPCisms aren't off, but is the OP talking about a COB/COR situation? I thought that if it was formal recruitment, a person could only receive one bid?

soca15 01-06-2011 01:43 AM

Sorry- I fixed too late :(

xomanadaxo 01-06-2011 01:44 AM

I know I'm out of my lane (and distracting from the budding trainwreck above) but I'm curious if you'd actually get multiple bids from SEC NPC recruitment? That seems odd...

(I'm assuming that the OP was asking about NPC because I'm not aware of NPHC having pref dress issues, but I could be wrong.)

ETA: k_s, you type fast!

Nope you're right. There may be a few places that still provide all available bids to PNMs for their formal recruitment but it'd be incredibly rare on the whole.

And you do have a tendency to leave your meat in the sink.

Alright since this has caused a lot of issues ha the way spring rush works at my school, at least last year, was that there was one night that you met all the sororities participating in spring rush at a different location other than their house and that was it, it wasn't real formal it took like 3 hours and it was done. The following day at 5pm your information was released to the sororities which they were allowed to do something or nothing. They could invite you to dinner or offer you a bid right then and there over the phone or completely ignore you. I received almost two simultaneous phone calls offering me a bid and an invite over to another house for dinner-phew!
