A franchise owner is not representative of the whole.

I love Panera's Broccoli Cheddar soup in a bread bowl, in a regular bowl, with a mouse, in a house.

Mmmm I love broccoli cheddar from Panera too.
And their bagels
And their sandwiches
And their mac-n-cheese
And their lemonade
Panera is one of my top favorite chain restaurants.

Ditto on the broccoli cheddar without the mouse in the house.

Actually, there is a little white mouse running around this house and I fear that we'll never find him. :(

Same here! I also have a "surprise" on my card since it was my birthday recently.

I'm a big fan of Panera's tomato soup in the breadbowl. Croutons, tomato soup goodness and more bread. What's not to love?

So, the mac and cheese is good? I've been wanting to try it but I keep going back to either the French Onion soup or the Mediterranean Veggie sandwich.

Y'all are making me hungry and all I have here in my office is a can of Progresso Chicken Soup :(

Kappamd 11-23-2010 01:36 PM

The mac and cheese is EXCELLENT.

Well I'll be the odd one out...I've never heard of Panera. =( We don't have one in Mississippi

KSig RC 11-23-2010 03:33 PM

Potato soup is probably the easiest to screw up in the entire world ... Panera's is excellent though.

The number next to it isn't, but f- it, amirite?

I just might! All the things y'all are talking about sound mouth-watering....
*eats ham sandwhich, sigh* =(

Don't feel bad. I don't really care for Panera (except for the cinnamon crunch bagels and a few pastries), and I don't like bread bowls.

/running and ducking for cover.

French toast bagels...yummy!

My hubby usually gets a bread bowl, and my son steals the soft cut out part to dip in his own soup.

MysticCat, you don't have to like everything from Panera Bread. :) You like what you like from Panera Bread. You still win at life.

Awwww, and here I was trying to get a rise out of you.

I feel bad now.

(Wait, that's what you were aiming for, huh? Heaping coals?)

Panera. That's what I love about the suburbs. There's only one in NYC and it's not anywhere useful to me. Meanwhile, my hometown has about a zillion of them.

I love breadrolls. I've been putting my homemade shrimp bisque in breadrolls.

thetygerlily 11-23-2010 03:49 PM

Lucy you are making me hungry! Especially since we are snowed in today, a bread bowl sounds perfect. Too bad Panera isn't within walking distance. Or in my house.

And I agree- the white cheddar mac & cheese is tasty. I'm not a fan of orange cheeses but love white cheddar. Mmm...
