That's like being an ethical vegetarian and wearing a leather jacket. Find a new coat, or find a way to take the letters off. Do not be surprised if you have your ass beat for perping the letters that no longer belong to you.

Buy a new jacket. If they were really hazing you, that's a reflection on them and you shouldn't want to represent them. Wearing a jacket with letters DOES represent them. If there are a few members you liked, or pledge class members you think will stick it out, give your lettered items to them. That way they don't go to waste, and you aren't wearing letters you no longer have. Or sell them. Either way, pass them on to people who are actual members of the organization, distance yourself, and head to Target. They have cute warm jackets and pullovers at a good price.

No one is going to beat you to the ground and steal your jacket, but it's in bad taste.

I want to know where the OP "heard" it would be ok to continue wearing letters. I doubt another Greek would say that, and if it was a GDI, why the heck would you ask or accept their answer? Oh, that's right, because it's the one you wanted to hear.

"Hopefully" isn't the point. The point is that you all should stop speaking definitively on that. LOL.

No. Just no.

I feel like someone has to call BS on this... I'm not usually the one to do it but... What actually happened? Somehow I feel like this "hazing" is a load of crapola.

If you WERE one then why the hell are you wearing it? Find another raggedy old shirt to jog in.

serious question: so is it weird for people to wear their letters once they've graduated?? i mean, once you initiate (and not drop), aren't you part of that sorority/fraternity forever?

That has nothing to do with the discussion.
