Can we go back to the OP? One thing I'd wonder about, depending on his school, is whether rushing four chapters may have actually been too much. I think it's normal to check out a lot of chapters once, but if your rush period was, say, three weeks, and you were splitting your time equally among the four fraternities through the whole thing, there may not have been a single chapter that thought you were really interested.
