I hate you so much right now.

So your LXA chapter at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County gives bids to old people?

Cool. Someone should tell all the old people they should go to school there if they want a bid.

You're special. And I mean that in the way our substance abuse counselor refers to our clients who have an excuse for everything.

Mmmkay. If you say so.

You're the one not taking the joke.

No, there's nothing wrong at all with a chapter extending a bid to someone older than the average pledge. But that's not exactly what you said. You said:
Quote:

am I the only school that pledges old people regularly??
Yeah, we knew what you meant. But look at how you actually said it:
  • "Am I the only school" -- not "do I go to the only school" (this got the "University of Phi_Delta" post)
  • "the only school that pledges" -- not "the only school where chapters pledge"
  • "old people" -- not "older than usual" (and then there's "old people" with "regularly")
Couple the way you said what you said with the attitude you've shown in quite a few of your posts so far, and you really can't be surprised that people are having some fun with you. Laugh and move on.

Can we go back to the OP? One thing I'd wonder about, depending on his school, is whether rushing four chapters may have actually been too much. I think it's normal to check out a lot of chapters once, but if your rush period was, say, three weeks, and you were splitting your time equally among the four fraternities through the whole thing, there may not have been a single chapter that thought you were really interested.

hon, I'm going to have to admit that while I started this account with good intentions, I'm going to have to give it up because I started trolling too early. Everything I said outside of the LXA forum was a complete joke lol.

Have a nice day

You could just try not addressing people with gender-specific terms like "bro"... That would pretty much solve the problem..
