You know how everyone tells people rushing to watch what they say online because actives at that University could be seeing what they say? Who knew it would hold true for U of T all the way up in the North.
Kid's lucky I find this mildy amusing. |
And to be completely fair a lot of the info on that website is pretty out dated. So someone's just trying to save themselves for actually taking this thread two steps backwards.
Also, the "I got Letters" argument is pretty lame. It's not like he's actually gone to a recruitment party and got rejected, therefore denying him letters. Maybe when you do provide links to a curious Rush, you don't provide him with something useless. Maybe you should do the research, instead of blaming him for everything. Granted, maybe he was too 'immature' about it, but that's fine. Some of you think your letters give you self-entitlement, and permission to be jerks in a conversation like this. What stopped you from saying, "Oh I'm sorry I gave you useless information, let me help you try elsewhere"? Maybe it was your letters. |

If he bothered to search either the site provided, or wikipedia he'd find a list of links. He could then check these links against the GLO websites to find out if the chapters are still present. But that would be work. He'd rather bitch. People here who flash their letters out of line get called on it. People who flash them because they know shit you don't know, don't. Assholes get treated like it. |

If you knew anything about Fraternities in Canada, the average teen growing up doesn't know what's up or what's down. And assuming he has knowledge that'll allow for him to go to the General's website is pretty dumb too. Also when I was a curious rush I filled out forms on the GLO website saying "Interested in joining, fill out this form". Nothing ever came of that. So let's not pretend the system works. |

If "the average teen" wants to learn something about fraternities in Canada he should accept even less than totally helpful replies politely or learn to google it himself. Particularly when the respondent did, infact, "know something about [GLOs] in Canada." So, get over yourself. |

That's fine. I do not expect you guys to see the greatness of my ways, so I'm not even going to bother trying to make you see the light.

B. I used the exact same research method that he *started* to eventually get my letters. Henceforth, my letters actually do serve a function in this argument. C. My issue with his original post was that he asked for chapter reputations, which you won't get here. |
