Ditto the trashy TV. I have Real Housewives on deck for days such as this.

Take a nap.

I had that kind of day myself, & virtual shopping is a quick fix for me too. I also play stupid hidden object games online until I'm relaxed. And I walk the dog. It helps both of us.

Drive on a country road with no traffic and a high speed limit!

SUSHI!!! Or jump in my car and drive somewhere. Anywhere. To the beach, to another city. Hop on a freeway and just see where it goes. I do that a lot.

My fave when I was stressed beyond measure? First, I got a massage and vent about my day to my massage therapist (she obliged me and usually complained about her bf so I could focus on someone else for awhile). Then to the store to buy lavender-scented epsom salt, which she recommended to me. Then, what I called "grown woman time." This consisted of a bubble bath, candles, Chaka Khan and a glass of wine. Cell phone--off. The world--on hold. Let marinate as long as needed. :)

YES. Also love.

Can't forget G4's junk food tv. (Campus PD, Cheaters, Cops...and ninjas, lots of ninjas).

I totally forgot about Ninja Warrior. Seems there's an all day marathon with new episodes today. Ninja Warrior is an excellent way to cheer yourself up no matter what type of day you're having!

You crazy kids can't find anything to do but run around sniffin' each other and plotting how to get someone's pants off. Shame.

Watch an episode or two of A History of Britain.

Wander around the drugstore and pretend I'm 12 again, looking at the makeup and buying absolutely nothing.

THIS! I do this if I'm having a bad day, or sometimes if I'm just bored.

Hahaha...sometimes Jack can be a very supportive friend after a long day.

jessica.lanelle 08-14-2010 07:23 PM

When I have a bad day, I like to shop online, drink a little vodka, and get in people's business on Facebook/Twitter.
