That's too bad... now that I'm an alum I can't wait to write a rec for someone! You must get pretty invested. At least she found a great home with another group. Maybe we'll both write recs for some new Kappas next year!

Congrats on the new job! I promise, I won't be offended in your delay in updating the first post in this thread.

I am a little bummed, but both of the girls I wrote recs for were only through the Panhellenic alumnae association or a member of another NPC group. I would be more bummed if it was a close family friend or someone in my family. Of course, I want everyone to love Kappa as much as I do, but I know there are many other amazing groups out there.

It is being reported elsewhere on this site that Kappa at Alabama took 86 and quota was 88 (83 freshmen and 5 upperclassmen).

I am helping out with Lambda's final recruitment workshop on Saturday. So excited!

Delta Omicron at Iowa State took quota of 29!

ETA: Quota was 54.

Arkansas Kappas took 105. Quota 93.

Oh, and quota at Missouri was 78 according to the Mizzou thread.

Seeing these pictures makes me all excited but bummed because Eta Mu and Eta Nu don't have recruitment for over a month yet!

I know how you feel... Eta Epsilon doesn't start until January. :(

If anyone invites me or asks if I'm coming, I want to! I don't want to be that creepy alumna, though, so I hope someone asks me. I'm not an adviser (yet) for either chapter because I'm too young. I'm on HB for Santa Clara, and I'm supposed to be on UCSC's HB, too, but they don't meet very often. My involvement with Santa Clara's HB is how I got asked to help with recruitment last year.
