That makes sense. Yeah, I'm going to try to stop thinking about it and do my best to enjoy recruitment :) Hello, strangers. |
OK, I have another question. It isn't that important but I am slightly confused by terminology. I am sure that this has been explained somewhere but I couldn't find it...
As per: http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...d.php?t=113504 What exactly is quota/total/campus total? I thought that quota was however many new members a sorority was supposed to take in, based on 'X number of PNMs attending pref' divided by 'number of chapters.' Or, I thought I remembered reading that. Anyway, can someone explain this all to me please? :) Thank you. |

quota: the number of women a sorority can offer a bid to (you have the general idea of how quota is determined right) total/chapter total: the total number of women a sorority can have at a time |
Also, in formal rush, every sorority is allowed to take quota, EVEN IF it puts them above total.
EX: Total is 150 - currently ABC has 130 members and DEF has 140 members. Quota is determined to be 20. DEF can still take 20 members, even though this puts them over the campus total of 150. HTH :) |
Thanks for the clarification 33girl!

Thank you both!
