^^^I did not take it that she was filling out her application, but instead, was putting together her resume that is attached to recs and is the basis for the material she puts on her application.

What are these "info only" recs of which you all speak? I know if we got anything OTHER than a rec from an actual member it would go straight to the trash...

I think she means a rec from an actual member but one which says "I don't know this girl but here is her resume and she seems pretty chill."

Oh that makes sense. I thought it was along the lines of sending a resume to the particular houses or something. PNMs, don't do that.

That's why I asked. There's no set "THIS IS WHAT YOUR RESUME MUST SAY AND LOOK LIKE AND IT MUST BE IN THIS FORMAT" although there are generally accepted rules about what should and should not be on a resume.

Filling out an application is more rigid than creating a resume. If the question was "I do all these things but they don't count as activities" MY response is "Why are none of those things activities? If you're creating a resume yourself you should include them."

Of course she should be preparing that in anticipation of asking for recs. It was the sense of rigidity on what would be going on it that was confusing me.
