I'm definitely going to miss 24. I have to admit Jack was getting a little old though.
I started watching Kings after it was cancelled and thought it was great. It was an intentional parallel of the Biblical account of Saul and David and I was really interested to see where they were going with it.

I have recently fallen in love with Chuck and am glad to see it it renewed.

Don't ask me, I'm still mourning Homefront and WKRP! ;)

But I do agree with the following:

The Tudors. I don't know why they couldn't continue it and do Mary and Elizabeth's reigns. :( I will miss the hotness of Henry Cavill and Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

I'd like to see that kid who played Edward "reign" - let people see how truly ridiculous it was for a over-indulged nine-year-old King! And Lady Jane Grey would be good for a fortnight, also. ;)

Other than Jeopardy!, I don't really watch any other network tv on a regular basis.

Heroes and The Unit.

Law & Order (original). They finally got a great cast together after a couple awful ones, but at least they've gone out on a high note.

I can't believe L&O is really off the air. God, I was 14 when that show started! I LOVE me some L&O and HATE the spin offs.

Arrested Developement was just a misunderstood show. All of the characters were hilarious.

I also miss Better off Ted. Porsche de Rossi was in that one, too. She did such as awesome job as the driven corporate b*tch without a bit of empathy. It missed sometimes, but when it was on, it was ON!

Firefly.

Angel, though it had its run.

Law and Order (Original series)

American Gothic.

Space: Above and Beyond: A completely misunderstood show....but that's Sci-Fi for ya.

Jericho: Excellent premise, though I will say they needed better writers.

Forgot about Better Off Ted

The Game: Right when it was getting good in the final season.

Married with Children: Like The Simpsons, that could have kept going.

The Shield: Best Cop Drama period.

I was watching a marathon and noticed when they stopped running the LUDs on phones and started pulling information from the SIM cards.

I laughed.

You could really watch technology morph on that series. It was amazing. I loved one of the episodes a few seasons ago when all the lights went out in NYC and Anita had to instruct all the police officers how to use whistles since they couldn't communicate otherwise!

Yes I remember that. They all had the whistles but couldn't remember the whistle codes since they never used it since training.

Yep. I loved her because she was so short and matter of fact. The looks she'd give people were priceless!

1. Didn't we just have a thread on this like a month ago?
2. When did they cancel Heroes?

1. The Unit- I loved this show. I hated that it was cancelled.

2. The Tudors- I wish they had continued with Edward's reign, Jane Grey's 9 day reign and then through Mary's then end, as there are tons of movies on Elizabeth's reign

3. The Sarah Connor Chronicles- I hated how the show left off, considering they did it as a season finale and Fox cancelled the show after the actors had went on hiatus. It bugged me that this show got cancelled when The Dollhouse was kept when SCC had better ratings.

4. Flash Forward- The show was getting so good the last couple of episodes and then the do a season finale and like Fox, ABC cancels the show after the cast has gone on hiatus. Plus it bugs the heck out of me that ABC kept V, which had worse ratings.

5. Buffy the Vampire Slayer- I was disappointed when Buffy ended and still live in this little river called "de-nile".

6. Firefly- this show got the shaft before it even was given a chance to spread it's wings and fly.

I am personally a V fan and planned to get into Flash Forward on DVD. (Not that I had to choose, but I make the personal choice to only invest in one or two new shows per season -- I usually pick the losers [I chose Daybreak while the rest of the world chose Heroes])

Anyway, there is a blog entry at one of my favorite tv sites:

Quote:

FlashForward premiered with a strong 4.0 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 12.47 million viewers. Viewership quickly declined though and has been steadily falling. The two most recent episodes have fallen to a 1.3 rating and about 4.8 million viewers. That’s terrible for a network show.

Meanwhile, V debuted with a 5.2 rating in the demo and 14.3 million viewers. V’s numbers have fallen quite a bit as well but not nearly as low as FlashForward’s. After dropping to a low of a 1.9 rating in the demo and 4.87 million viewers, the last two episodes’ ratings have risen a bit — reaching a 2.3 rating and 5.69 million.

So, while both shows have indeed been struggling, V is still doing quite a bit better than FlashForward (though certainly not great). ABC tends to save one or two struggling shows each season and V was their choice this time around. FlashForward’s ratings were just too low.

I don't agree with them canceling it, but I did want to give some perspective.

Still bitter about . . .

1. Homefront - Honeychile, we know good stuff when we see it.

2. Pushing Daisies - It was new! It was different! It had fabulous production values and an incredible cast! It had sister Kristin Chenoweth! So of course it had to die. . .
