Hi there!
I've read it before, and I am reading it again in this very thread. Simple, informal events, like kickbacks and movie nights work best. It's way less stressful for both the brothers and the rushees, and the transition from friends to brothers will just seem natural. As a rush director of a fraternity that is not part of the IFC at our school (and therefore no "formal rush"), that's how we are planning the basic outline of our rush this fall. Granted, we have one or two larger events, but still nothing extravagant and we are also using this as a way of getting our name out there in our college this fall. Hope this helps and good luck! ~Jen Fidelitas, Amor et Artes Alpha Rho Chi, Satyros Chapter |
Hi!
