And I think SHE means what does GTFO out mean :p

Get the fuck out.

OK...jes' checking...cuz if there is a new free online serive out there, then I am in

lovespink88 05-20-2010 12:45 PM

Oh wait a minute, now I'm confused.

I was not reading carefully and thought that Drole was asking "What's GTFO" I just saw that "D", I didn't see "DaemonSeid"

I'm just going to back out of this one. My bad :o

Heh an online tv service called GTFO would be epic.

Would it be inappropriate to post less-than-legal (as in you're not going to get in trouble for watching them though the site could obviously get in trouble) sites here?

Comcast (soon to be Xfinity) has Fancast online but I think it's tied to your account with them.

lovespink88 05-20-2010 12:48 PM

^^ Yeah, I know one of those websites... it's worked pretty well for me actually. You can't get all of your shows, but it has a lot more than Hulu AND it often has old seasons too (although not EVERY episode is available, but most are).

Be super careful of viruses though. I can't confirm that this site was the source, but they're obviously less than legit in the first place. However as my AV caught it, I'm not going to worry about it.

lovespink88 05-20-2010 01:02 PM

Oh for sure.

At this website that I use, most of the episodes can be watched right there on the page (which has been virus free for me, and I have been using it for a while now). However, like I mentioned before, that website doesn't have ALL of the episodes on it...sometimes it will reroute you to really sketchy websites when you click on episode, so I just avoid those.

I (and my mom, who actually turned me on to it) have used Fancast and they are mostly tied into Hulu, but they have a large library of classic shows that Hulu doesn't have.

I personally don't see a problem talking about 'other sites' but I would say "use at your own risk".

Well I'll take it down if there's a problem but I use ch131.com. It has shows and movies and is generally pretty decent.

Google video will find some shows too.
Surfthechannel.com links to other sites including youtube, megavideo and a bunch of Chinese/Korean/etc. sites

Of course, use at your own risk ;)

This.

I only watch online (Hulu or elsewhere) as a last resort. I don't like watching tv on my computer.

ETA: So what will happen to Big Bang Theory when Survivor is on?

I will get very cranky.

I use CastTV.com. I mentioned before, as long as the episode you want to watch is on CastTV, you're good. If it tries to direct you somewhere else, I wouldn't recommend watching the episode.

The only network tv I watch is Jeopardy! and Who Do You Think You Are. There does seem to be a couple promising shows, though. Until then, thank you, FIOS!

We don't like it either. So we have a computer hooked up to the TV that we can use to watch hulu and netflix streaming - there are apps you can put in your Media Center to do it. We also watch live TV through an HDHomeRun on the Media Center PC. Remotes for computers are awesome and I'm getting another one to use on my laptop when I plug it in to the bedroom TV via HDMI.

Of course, Live-in just happens to be a computer guy who just happened to have a lot of the stuff for the Media Center PC just laying around the house.

Maybe Survivor won't come back (one can hope).

I have to plug "Lonestar" on Fox - I haven't seen anything but the trailer so I don't know what it's like, but a good friend of mine has a big part in the show as one of the main character's wives. It's a big deal for a young actress and I'm so excited for her! I shrieked when I saw the trailer for the first time - she's the blonde girl in the towel at the very beginning :D
