I contacted my school's greek life office, and she advised me to put my current GPA & then once summer session is over, I can contact the GL office to change it to the (hopefully) higher one. Thanks for everyone's help with the issue. I guess I shouldn't have even posted this question, and just contacted the office to begin with

Good luck with recruitment! Please come back, later and tell us how it went for you!

Don't most houses have minimum gpa requirements for rush? And if you have just the minimum is this looked down upon even if they love you otherwise?

Yes.

And your 2nd question really depends. If a chapter has say, a 2.5 requirement, but most of the PNMs have like a 3.5 and up, the girls with 2.5's, 2.6's, etc. are going to look alot less impressive. I find that a well-liked PNM with a 3.5 or something is going to do better than a girl with a 2.5 that they are kind of so-so about.

On the same token, well-liked girl with a 2.5 might fare better than a girl with a 4.0 that doesn't have the best personality. So it just depends.
