Ours was there last July. Heard it was awesome.

The Doral Golf Resort is very beautiful. I used to live right down the road from there when Doral was being developed. Enjoy your stay at the Resort. :)

We hold ours on the odd years; the Congress will meet next year in Kentucky. I'm already ridiculous excited to go. I've heard it is quite the experience.

Psi U has convention every year. This year we are holding it at the University of Illinois.

I wish I had a reason to go to our convention. I'm not an involved alumna at all; it would be kind of fun to go.

Alpha Omega Epsilon's is in Louisville this year. I'm hoping to go! It would be my first as an alumna, which is super exciting.

You should go! It's a lot of fun. I was definitely going, but now I'm looking at the budget and trying to decide if I can swing it. I attend a lot of conventions for work, but AXO always blows them out of the water.

Theta Phi Alpha's is in Nashville this year. I won't be attending this one but I will be at 2012's Convention because it's our 100th year!!!

Tri Delta's is June 30-July 3 at the JW Marriot in Orlando


Whats with all the conventions in Otown this year?

Zeta Psi is having their convention in New Orleans in August.

Alpha Phi Omega is having their Nationals in Atlanta in December. ;)

Kappa Kappa Gamma will have Convention this June in Phoenix.

DST in N.O. this summer.

I think there are only a handful of cities that have the convention center capabilities and transportation amenities required for a national sorority convention. If you look at the NPC sororities, you definitely see trends from year to year. Orlando is a very popular destination. A few years ago, everyone was in Palm Desert and Scottsdale. They also tend to be the same places that many large professional conventions are--New Orleans, Denver, etc. It's no coincidence, really.

Delta Tau Delta will be having its Convention (we call it Karnea) in Washington DC!

2004 - Savannah, GA
2006 - Orlando, FL (which I attended... so much fun!)
2008 - Chantilly, VA

I'm jealous of those having convention in Nashville. If we have ours there, there's no way I'm going to miss it. I love Tennessee!
