LOL
My laughing at ree-Xi's joke was your breaking point? Seriously? |

I understand that you can not predict the future, especially if you don't have much information. I will try to reword this once again: I'm trying to get other people's first reactions to my reasons for not rushing initially, does it give off the impression that I just don't care? No, I will not let anything on this forum sway my decision to rush or not, but a few helpful tips would be nice. And the heads up that I need to explain my "delay in becoming a PNM" in a different way, in order to put it in a better light, would be nice. I'd rather make the mistakes on a forum than during rush week. And I am merely annoyed that I am told over and over again to read the other threads when it has already happened... |

If you go to a school where alot of students go Greek and recruitment is competitive, it might raise an eyebrow that you waited so long. At others, it's no big deal. As far as tips and advice for recruitment, this thread has tips and advice for days. Happy reading: http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...ad.php?t=54403 |
The sarcasm and entitlement issues aren't helping your cause. You're asking for information from other people, then getting bitchy when it's not what you want.
What part of WE DON'T KNOW don't you understand? If I had a crystal ball, I'd be using it to predict winning lottery numbers instead of your chances of getting into a sorority. There are plenty of helpful tips out there, and that have already been given. If you don't like what you were told, well, that's your problem. |

If you're too stupid to understand that none can predict your success or failure during recruitment, then yes, rushing is out of of the question for you since you can't understand such a simple concept. |

Since we don't know, stop asking! Maybe you're having trouble with basic reading comprehension. |
Do you want more specific predictions? Post your school, GPA, activities/resume, name, list of friends that we can ask about you, picture (close up and full length), etc. Maybe we could give you a better answer then. Otherwise, you gave us absolutely zilch to go on, so how can anyone predict?
And last time I checked, GC wasn't here to provide a service in predicting potential success/failure of potential new members. |
Wow, I really didn't see this thread crashing and burning like this.
My only comment- if you really had read the 90+ threads that are out there about juniors rushing (and every variation on that situation), you would have known the responses you were going to get. I knew before I even opened the thread. Stop acting all offended and victimized, take the [predictable] advice you were given, and take the crazy train home. |
oy vey! I'm not telling you where or where not to post, my point is that I keep trying to tell you people the same things, and all anyone seems to be able to say is "I DON'T KNOW" or "read other threads".
1) I know you don't know, if you will please read, I'm not asking you to make a prediction. 2) I have already read the other similar threads, they weren't helpful. 3) I'm only giving back the vitriol that I'm receiving. |
wide-eyed: I'm so sorry that you aren't getting what it is that you want from the fine members of GC, all of whom hold membership in a number of GLOs. Then again, I'm not sure I know what it is that you want, because I'm now quite confused after reading all your posts.
TrueStar: I'm predicting that your recruitment is going to go well, regardless of your class standing. Let us know, 'k? |
