One of my Rush Class Brothers and I decided to be Valentine's (lol), so we'll see what we do. Then, I have a chapter meeting at night.

So nothing too special.. just another Sunday.

I really don't know what we'll be doing. Apparently, it's a surprise so I guess I'll have to post afterwards.:(

But I love surprises.:)

I'll be spending it with my mama! And she's a huge chocoholic so I can see some co-enabling in our future...

Going to my boyfriend's for a long weekend, and making him dinner that night. Other than that, it's all up in the air

The Four Winds Casino in (God only knows where) Michigan. It was actually really really nice, we had a blast, had a great dinner at the buffet (LOL!) and ended up spending quite a few hours there. We took $60 each, decided to play until it was gone or we were tired (so we weren't expecting big money) and that lasted us for a while (at one point, I was up and probably could have walked away $10 richer but that really wasn't the point of the day).

We figured for a nice restaurant in Chicago we could have dropped $120 bucks easily, so why not go do something with it?

Ahh...I am quite familiar with Four Winds! It's always a fun time

I don't particularly believe in Valentine's Day honestly...and I still say that as I've been in a relationship for 3 years now.

My b/f and I met on Feb. 9th, and our first date was Mar. 6th, so we usually pick sometime in between to do something for our anniversary. It just happened to work out that the only weekend that worked best was Valentine's weekend.

So we are planning on leaving after I get off of work on Friday and driving to Savannah, GA and staying over night there. We'll walk around historic Savannah for a little bit before continuing on our journey to Orlando, where we will stay for 2 nights, and spending one full day at Disney. Then on Monday, we will leave Orlando, start our trek back up north to go home, but we will stop for our last night in St. Augustine, FL and go to the beach, and then continue the rest of the way home to Raleigh on Tuesday.

I will be flying to Miami. Business...not pleasure.

You will have fun in St. Augustine. If you are a fan of Ghost Adventures or Ghost Hunters then St. Augustine is a great place to visit. The oldest city in America, where Ponce De Leon once walked on, has one of the highest concentration of natural EMFs in the country. If you're solely on a romantic getaway then it's still a good place to visit. Make sure you visit the "Lover's Tree" while you are there and kiss. Supposedly, if you kiss under the lover's tree you will love the person forever. Funny thing but my wife and I went there a few years before we got married and kissed under the tree. Typically, this type of stuff is a little to lovy duvy for me but it was actually kind of cool. The tree is a palm tree that grew directly into a oak tree. Both trees have survived for years and neither has died. It's quite remarkable.

Valentine's Day is actually kind of special with my wife and I. I proposed to her on a Valentine's Day. I know I know - it's kind of cheesy but it worked.

Happy V-Day all.

Fraternally Yours,

Boodleboy322

No sulking around this year! A couple of my closest friends, all singles, are planning a fun-filled weekend of dinner, cocktails, movies, games, and spa treatments. By the time the weekend is over I should be too worn out to even notice or care that I don't have a "valentine."

Probably nothing. He's cheap like that.
