I think Michelle was kept for the train wreck effect (producer's pick). It almost seemed to me that he was holding his nose as he offered her the last rose ;)
It was nice to see Ed and Jillian, I read that they were going to announce their wedding date on the show, but then told the producers that they wanted to keep it private for fear of the wackos coming... |

And ditto on not being surprised if it turns out Rozlyn had the affair. She looks the type, if that makes any sense. |
Poor KDs having to claim Vienna.. luckily she's not a reflection of your organization (or hopefully her chapter!) as a whole. :)
I'm not surprised by Rozlyn either, she seemed a little blase about the entire idea of the show. And definitely snobby. |
Yeah I was waiting for "the big announcement" as well, which never came. Not sure if it was a privacy thing (which I can respect) or delaying. Setting a date would help people (like me!) take them more seriously. I am not in the "they're faking it all!" category, but I have a healthy bout of skepticism in me.
Some non-ABC reports are saying that the producers exaggerated the Rozlyn scandal. They say she was upset that they wouldn't let her talk to her son daily as promised so she threatened to leave, and then they made this up to facilitate her departure. Based on that version there WAS a producer who was interested in her, but they never actually did anything. So they let the girls hypothesize on what had happened and that's when the sexual affair line came out. If only the girls ever refer to it like that & Chris stays generically neutral, this version might have some credence. Won't find out til next week! |
Holy god woman. ARE YOU SERIOUS? You don't think your personal life is anyone's business? You're on the BACHELOR. You hooked up with a staffer while trying to "find love" and you don't think that should matter?
Good riddance, what an idiot. |

The "hookup" with a staff member is made up, fabricated and scripted, methinks. Kinda like how on Gillian's series, no one has access to the phone nor the internet and yet Ed gets "summoned" back to work by his employer? Sheeyah, right! Quote:
I call bull$hit on so many of the things that happen on that show. |
I'm not watching this, but I saw this article and snorted:
http://www.popeater.com/2010/01/12/b...a-rozyln-papa/ Cheated on, my heiney. Glad the writer called him on it. |

Let's also not forget who writes Chris' paycheque. I was LMAO when Chris said something along the lines of "Let's not forget what the true purpose of the show is" or something like that (i.e. to placate & "reassure" the girls). Yes: ratings and making Mike Fleiss rich. I've got to say, if I was Rozlyn, I would be angry as hell for the implied "sluttery" and I'd suing for defamation of character. |

Good job. You made a point that every tabloid show for the past two days has made. Kudos for your originality. I called it an affair because that's how the situation was being described before the show actually aired. Anyways, I still like Tenley. There isn't really anyone I truly hate at this point, save for Michelle. She seems to be the token crazy that's probably being kept around just for entertainment's sake. |

Yeah, Michelle is freaking NUTSO! She seriously has a totally different personality around Jake, and it seems like she tears up every time she talks to him. Can you imagine being in a relationship with her? Psycho!!
I think Ally is fun, but I don't know why Jake thinks she's SUPER amazing. I think some of those women just seem more like friendship material. Oh, and super glad Christina is gone. She was pretty whiney and had zero self-confidence. |
To me, Jake is just friendship material. He has no sex appeal at all (IMO), and it creeps me out to watch him trying to fake it with these women, who in large measure seem skanky and fake as well.
Ally and Tenley (?) are the exceptions and need to find love elsewhere - maybe their exposure on the show will help them out, they are certainly being edited as sweet and sincere. |
I'm so glad Michelle is gone!!! And Elizabeth was weirding me out, too.
I hope Jake realizes that Vienna is psycho. Oh, and btw, who the heck was Valishia?? It showed her going home, and I seriously didn't even remember who she was. Annnd last but not least, I feel like Ella is too good for Jake. |
Okay, is it just me or does Jake seem to be a terrible kisser??? I am not trying to gross anyone out, but the kisses just seem bleh. He doesn't move his mouth at all.

Resisted this show for so long, but it's on Hulu and I am addicted.
Jake is TOTAL "friend" material. I could not imagine dating him. I need a little edge, or cockiness, or sarcasm or something. He is just way too nice and happy. Bleh maybe that says something about me and the people I find attractive, but seriously. I have never really watched a season before, but I have to say I was much more impressed by Ed in the first episode (the guy who won last season?). I thought his sense of humor and vibe was totally up my alley...now wait for somebody to come out of the woodwork and inform me that he was a total tool haha! I love Ali, she is by far my favorite. OK, does anybody else get that type of feeling when they watch these shows where you think "rush crush" in your head when there is a girl you like?? I would have totally rushed the heck out of Ali! I think Gia is pretty and I think Tenley seems really genuine. Vienna, ehhh not my favorite but I can't say I really understand the hate. I think a lot of the hatred from the girls stems from jealousy that Jake seems to like her. Oh, and how awkward were the people laughing at the "dumb blonde jokes" at the comedy contest? They were laughing so hard at jokes everybody has heard, that must have been staged. |
