Hey guys, i'm a freshman at a state university. I didn't rush during the fall because I was on a club sports team that has since ended. I realized that although some of the guys on the team were my friends, I have no interest in playing again next year. I really want to rush during the spring, but i have a couple questions before I do:
1. I'm trying to figure out which fraternities I would fit into before I decide to rush them. Rush here is only a week or two and i feel that if i did it blindly i might rush the wrong fraternity and find out too late. What would be the best way of getting to know the fraternities before rushing? emails? if so, what should i say when I send them?
2. Should I dedicate all my time to one fraternity during rush week or several?
3. What are some good tips for rushing? I know that I have to be myself and stuff like that, but is there anything I can do to increase my chances of receiving a bid?
