We're dating ourselves now. I have some of her albums and some CD's.

I worked my way part way through college as a "top 40" disk jockey and played her early songs on the radio.

She was arguably the finest female voice of that era. I'm also a big Gary Puckett (and the Union Gap) fan. And Terry Kirkman, lead singer (and writer) of The Association.

By the way, there's no such thing as "just a mom." They're damned important.

What a sweet thing to say! In reference to another thread...Last Kiss- so right on that and I have a Gary Pucket album I pulled out about a month ago.
I miss the art work on albums. Some very interesting conversations evolved from some of the more creative ones.
