Do you have a student entertainment organization on your campus? (...the group that books, organizes, promotes, and launches concerts, theater, etc. for your campus.) If so, get involved at a high level, i.e. higher than working security, although that isn't a bad start. If you get in deep with an organization like this, everyone will want to be your friend. It will also give you some incredibly useful skills for the working world.
